“Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare” is one of the series’ most substantial films, featuring a complex interplay between the Black Organization, the Public Security Bureau, and the FBI, as a battle unfolds over a woman who has lost her memory. Beginning with a gritty setting involving law enforcement agencies, the story eventually shifts to a large-scale leisure facility, simultaneously heightening both the tension and the entertainment value. In particular, the scenes centered around the Ferris wheel toward the end have an overwhelming presence, creating a sense of scale unique to the theatrical version. It is a popular film that combines the intensity of the confrontation with the Organization with spectacular action sequences.
