Story and Setting

“Detective Conan: Dimensional Sniper” is a sniper thriller set in Tokyo, where the city’s skyscrapers and vast urban landscape themselves heighten the tension of the story. The story is deeply intertwined with three-dimensional elements such as the range of vision, lines of sight, and the act of looking up or down, making it a highly compelling urban action film. With the FBI and the Public Security Bureau joining the fray, the film depicts a wide-ranging manhunt and chase, creating a strong connection between Tokyo’s dynamic scenery and the film’s fast-paced action. It is a theatrical release that allows viewers to truly experience the scale of a modern metropolis.

FAQ

Can I visit the Sumida area in half a day?

Tokyo Skytree, Azumabashi Bridge, and Sumida River Walk are close together and easy to visit in half a day. If you include Wakamiya Park, allow a little extra walking time.

Can I include Hinode Pier on the same day?

Hinode Pier is away from the Sumida area, but it can be reached the same day by rail and the Yurikamome. Some warehouse areas are not open to visitors, so stay within viewable areas.

Where should I start if walking?

Starting around Tokyo Skytree or Oshiage Station makes it easy to continue toward Azumabashi Bridge, Sumida River Walk, and Asakusa. Hinode Pier is easier to place later in the day.
