Seeing Ran and "Shinichi" (Kid) gazing at the night view by the pool, Conan feels a sense of frustration.
Wanting to witness the destruction of the city, Leon comes to the rooftop pool. There, the true culprit appears, but Arthur (Conan) and Kid arrive and apprehend them. However, the pirates show up and side with the culprit.
Kid takes advantage of a momentary lapse and steals the "Blue Fist" from the pirates. He lures them into targeting a decoy Kid doll and blows up the rooftop's foundation. The boat-shaped rooftop begins to slide down, and amid the chaos, Kyogoku fights Jamaluddin.
