Story and Setting

“Detective Conan: The Raven Chaser” is a film in which the Black Organization becomes fully involved in the story, presenting a gripping suspense thriller where the investigation into a series of murders and the Organization’s covert activities unfold simultaneously. The story unfolds across a wide range of urban locations, with the police investigation, highways, and nighttime cityscapes creating a palpable sense of tension throughout the film. The proximity of Ai and Conan to the Organization makes this one of the most dangerous entries in the series, leaving a lasting impression. Its major appeal lies in the grand scale of the story, which spans the city, and the sense of unease that lingers from start to finish.

FAQ

Can I visit central Tokyo in half a day?

Tokyo Tower and the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Headquarters are easy to visit by public transport. If time is short, focus on these two and leave the other places for another day.

Can I include Hakone and Karuizawa on the same day?

Hakone and Karuizawa are in different directions from Tokyo and require substantial travel. It is more realistic to separate Kanagawa and Karuizawa into different days.

What should I prioritize without a car?

By public transport, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Headquarters and Tokyo Tower are easiest to prioritize. For the Hakone Turnpike area and the former Usui Pass Observation Platform, consider using a car or taxi.
